Kansas Area Crystal Meth Anonymous Meetings

You always have a seat here...welcome home!

What is CMA?

CMA is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, so they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from addiction to crystal meth. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. There are no dues or fees for CMA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. CMA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; and neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to lead a sober life and to carry the message of recovery to the crystal meth addict who still suffers.

A Sober Tool Box

We suggest building a tool box full of tools to help you stay clean and sober through the 12 steps, recovery literature, meetings, abstinence, and finding new ways to enjoy life.  You can learn more about this through CMA's Pamphlet a Sober Tool Kit at https://www.crystalmeth.org/for-the-fellowship/cma-literature/cma-pamphlets/

Sponsors are people who share their experience in recovery with other addicts, providing encouragement, support, suggestions, and their own example. They can help us to look for opportunities for growth and to see our own progress as it occurs. Learn more about sponsorship through our pamphlet What About Sponsorship available at https://www.crystalmeth.org/for-the-fellowship/cma-literature/cma-pamphlets/

About Alcohol and Other Drugs

We suggest Total Abstinence from all mind altering drugs and alcohol including any medications not taken as prescribed by your health care provider. For more information on how other substances can lead back to addiction to Crystal Meth see our pamphlet What About Alcohol and Other Drugs at https://www.crystalmeth.org/for-the-fellowship/cma-literature/cma-pamphlets/

CMA:

Unity-Service-Recovery

Helping others in their journey toward sobriety can also help us in our own recovery. Service, which is part of the 12 step of Crystal Meth Anonymous, can be carried out in many ways, such as making coffee, welcoming newcomers, helping clean up after a meeting, leading groups, visiting addicts in hospitals and institutions, or sponsoring addicts when you are ready to help others with the example of your own recovery. Come get involved!

Questions?  Contact us at cmajocoks@gmail.com or call us at (913) 890-3978.

We will respond within at least 24 hours!
